Defensive Tactics for
Non-Law Enforcement Professionals
This hands-on workshop will provide
practical information and examples of defensive tactics that may be utilized by
non law-enforcement personnel in the event they encounter a situation that
requires self-defense. The
attendees will learn how to protect themselves from various types of physical
attacks. Comfortable
clothing and shoes are highly recommended.

Tom Popken
Tom has been a Detective with the Dallas
Police Department and has served for 30 years. He has worked narcotics, patrol
and spent eight years as an instructor at the Dallas Police Academy. He has a
Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement and Sociology from Mankato State
University in Minnesota.
