Eduardo Ibarra

Detective Eduardo Ibarra is an 18-year veteran of the Dallas Police Department currently assigned to the Special Investigation Unit of the Crimes against Person Division.  Among the cases that Detective Ibarra is responsible for investigating are Officer Involved Shootings and Death in Custody cases.  Prior to his current assignment, he was a member of  a special team in the Family Violence Unit  responsible for enforcing Emergency Protective Orders.   Detective Ibarra is a graduate of the Texas Department of Public Safety Polygraph School and is a licensed polygraph examiner.  He is fluent in Spanish and is originally from El Paso, Texas where he attended the University of Texas El Paso.
