Leise Gergely joined the Network for Victim Recovery of DC (NVRDC) team in 2013 as a Case Manager. She is now a Senior Case Manager for NVRDC's Sexual Assault Crisis Response Program providing hospital advocacy and support services. Previously, Leise was a volunteer with DC Survivors and Advocates for Empowerment. At DC SAFE, she also participated in ride-alongs with the Metropolitan Police Department to provide direct, in-person services at crime scenes. Prior to coming to NVRDC, Leise worked as a Training Associate at the Young Women's Project, where she conducted trainings for youth around self-advocacy and reproductive health and provided support, peer counseling, advocacy, and social service referrals.
