Timothy Lott

Timothy Lott is Director of the High-Tech Crime Training Services Program of SEARCH. He oversees a national program that provides expert technical assistance and training to local, state, and federal justice and public safety agencies on the role that digital evidence plays in criminal investigations. Mr. Lott teaches courses in digital forensics and mobile device investigations. Following more than six years in law enforcement working in probation, Mr. Lott joined SEARCH in 2010 as a Training Specialist; he was promoted to Director in 2011. He has widespread ICAC experience, and has helped conduct multi-jurisdictional investigations involving white-collar crime, organized crime, crimes against persons, and fraud when high-technology or identity theft is a factor.
